Scott Maxwell

Scott Maxwell is the founder and Senior Managing Director of OpenView Venture Partners. Prior to founding OpenView, Scott was a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners, having joined Insight in 2000 as the Chief Operating Officer. At Insight, Scott led the effort to institutionalize the investment process, outbound program, value add program, and finance, legal, and administration departments. Post institutionalizing the investment strategy and infrastructure, Scott started leading deal work in 2001 and was the partner responsible for investing in eight Insight investments. Scott was previously a Partner at Putnam Investments, where he was Managing Director, Corporate Development. Before joining Putnam, Scott was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers, where he was the Chief Financial Officer of the Global Equity Division and a member of the Global Equities Executive Committee. Prior to Lehman, he was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company from 1990 to 1994.

Jeremy Levine

Jeremy Levine is a Partner in the New York office of Bessemer Venture Partners. He focuses on software and Internet companies that are based primarily in the United States and Europe. Prior to joining BVP in 2001, Jeremy was Vice President of Operations at Dash, an Internet software publisher. He came to Dash from AEA Investors, a management buyout firm, where he specialized in consumer products and light industrials, and he started his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. Jeremy graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in Computer Science and Economics.

Michael Triplett

Michael Triplett is a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners. Prior to joining Insight in 1998, he was an investment professional at Summit Partners, where he focused on investments in infrastructure and enterprise application software companies. Before joining Summit, Michael worked as a financial analyst at Morgan Stanley & Co. and at Midland Data Systems. Michael graduated from Dartmouth College with a BA in Economics, cum laude.

Steve Dickson

Steve Dickson is Senior Vice President of Product Management for Quest Software, where he is responsible for managing all of the company’s business units. Prior to this role, he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Windows Business Unit. During his tenure at Quest, which began in 1998, he held other key roles including Vice President of Marketing, Vice President of Sales for the Western Region, and Vice President of Sales for Microsoft Solutions. Previously, he worked for Air Liquide as a regional manager. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from Weber State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University.

Kevin Hickey

Kevin Hickey was named CEO of eEye Digital Security in December 2009. Kevin has a strong history of sales and marketing leadership, as well as software operations, strategy, fundraising and mergers and acquisitions expertise. Prior to joining eEye, Kevin recently concluded a very successful sale of NetPro Computing to Quest Software where, prior to the sale, he helped grow the business significantly in 4+ years. He has also served as the President and CEO of Homebid.com where he secured significant funding and eventually sold the business to industry leader, HomeStore.com. Kevin’s tenure at Homebid.com was preceded by seven years at Viasoft Inc. where he served as President and COO, and led the company to a successful initial and subsequent public offering prior to its sale. Kevin started his IT career at IBM, serving for 12 years in several key marketing and executive business management roles and remains a venture partner at JMI Equity of Washington, D.C., a principal investment firm specializing in management buyout, recapitalization, and institutional capital transactions of emerging companies.
