eEye Digital Security's Iris Wins W2Knews Target Award for Best Network Traffic Monitor

eEye Digital Security's Iris was named by W2Knews (www.w2knews.com) as the best Network Traffic Monitor. The Target Awards are a yearly tradition for Sunbelt Software and are highly regarded in the Windows NT/2000 Utility business sector. Ceremonies this year were held at the Microsoft Exchange & Collaboration Solutions Conference on October 1, 2001 in Orlando, Florida.

When asked how the Target Awards came to be, Stu Sjowerman, President of Sunbelt Software, said "...in the eighties, there was something similar for Digital's VMS space by a magazine called Digital Review. It was always a great and fun battle between the third party tools vendors and proudly promoted when won. We decided to pick up that tradition in the [Windows] NT-2000 space."

Almost 2,000 NT/W2K Administrators, MIS Managers, and IT pro's from around the world indicated their preferences. Each product (or service) was judged on three different criteria to select a winner in each category: Price, Features and Overall Quality."
