(Irvine, CA) eEye is looking for an experienced, confident and hard working Channel Marketing Communications Manager.
The person selected will report directly to the VP of Marketing and be responsible for developing, executing and managing the eEye global channel marketing communications program. This position will be a key member of the eEye Marketing team, working with marketing and sales management to develop channel marketing and sales strategies. The position will work with the sales team to develop and implement marketing programs designed to maximize channel sell-through.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance the company’s existing global marketing programs and content.
- Ensure co-op, MDF marketing budgets and other marketing investments produce the most effective strategic impact and drive revenue generation.
- Develop effective lead generation programs.
- Ensure channel marketing plans are produced and implemented successfully, with coordinated input collected from the sales team, executives, and partners.
- Support all incoming channel requests, including inquiries from new potential partners.
- Implement and manage a global reseller recruitment program.
- Creatively message key eEye product and solution marketing messages and value propositions to the global reseller audience.
- Develop effective communications tools (i.e. online reseller portal on www.eeye.com, newsletters, channel-flash email campaigns, webinars, reseller seminars, podcasts, videos, reseller summit, etc.) to maximize eEye reseller preparedness and engagement.
- Create and distribute ongoing scheduled channel-focused deliverables (i.e. reseller kits, SEO programs, marketing templates, ROI tools, training programs etc.).
- Carry out channel-focused advertising and marketing campaigns, working with 3rd parties, to build awareness of the eEye brand and generate sales leads for resellers.
- Meet regularly with channel partners to learn pain points and listen to their feedback on ways to improve the channel marketing communication program further.
- Work with channel partners on joint press releases and co-participation at industry events.
- Research and author reseller testimonials and customer success stories.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct work experience in channel marketing at either a security or B2B-focused infrastructure software company.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of direct work experience in designing on-line marketing communications.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Computer Science, or other related field of study.
- Advance knowledge of 2-tier channel distribution business model.
- Advance knowledge of and ability to drive communication development using HTML, flash, podcasting, VoD, advanced PowerPoint and other web 2.0 tools.
- Advance ability to develop, edit and strongly message the position of the channel business through various communication vehicles.
- Advance knowledge of English grammar, punctuation and spelling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Motivated, individual with superior problem solving ability and creativity.
