Responsible for hunting for new accounts and delivering incremental business as well as up-selling and cross-selling against existing accounts before and at renewal periods;
eEye Digital Security is seeking a professional Regional Sales Director for our North East Region Territory.
- Responsible for managing and growing territory, maximizing short term revenue, building future sales pipeline through demonstrated account and territory planning;
- Responsible for hunting for new accounts and delivering incremental business as well as up-selling and cross-selling against existing accounts before and at renewal periods;
- Ability to work with and orchestrate the coordination of a sales engineering team and inside territory managers to consistently move a complex security software solution opportunity at the C-Level and below to a closed sale;
- Proactively establishes and grows a strong, trust-based working relationships with channel partners’ salespeople, marketing, engineering, and management contacts through outbound calling and/or receiving inbound calls;
- Qualifies and follow up on sales leads, establish and maintain relationships with customers and channel partners, and close sales.
- Provides selling direction, in-depth product and licensing education and any other information related to selling eEye’s solutions to partners and prospective clients;
- Facilitates the sale of eEye’s products and services solutions through consultative selling techniques;
- Works in a team model, which may both include inside sales and field sales, system engineers, and partners;
- Generates revenue by developing market potential through forecasting, lead generation, qualification, and closing sales;
- Closes sales through consultative selling techniques and by building rapport with potential customers;
- Excels at articulating complex security solution benefits to customers and partners in compelling, easily understandable terms, overcoming objections, and gaining agreement from customers to purchase;
- Contributes information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products.
Essential Functions of Job
- Travel between 50% - 75%;
- Able to think independently and make wise judgment decisions;
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines;
- Must have excellent negotiation and influential selling skills;
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue quota;
- Capable of closing software contracts and services in the range of $100K-$500K+
Experience Required
- 7-10 years of consistently meeting quota and selling software solutions;
- Understanding and working knowledge of networking topologies and technologies;
- Quantifiable sales track record demonstrated by increasing responsibilities, growth in territory and quota;
- Must have established relationships and ability to network accordingly to generate new interest in target territory for product offerings;
- Strong business acumen, ethical and professional. Leadership, accountability and self-starter qualities required; and
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to stay focused, detailed, be direct, listen to customers requests and deliver.
Qualifications & Education
- Bachelors Degree
- 7-10 years of software sales experience
- Security software sales preferred
