(Irvine, CA) — eEye Digital Security is looking for a Technical Japanese Intern to assist in software development. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the localization of the software interface, and translation systems and processes to automate and streamline future product translation.
Principal Responsibilities
- Translate new product interface
- Assist and design of localized user interface components that can be used across multiple products in product line and develop a system to more easily translate the UI into future languages
- Automate the Japanese release process; extend to support additional languages
- Assist and design a database driven storage so that all common components within the application can share a single code base and presentation layer for any culture
- Assist and design a maintenance system and process so that translation and reformat of the application to new culture can be done without significant code changes
Knowledge and Skills
- Fluent in Japanese
- Experience in C#
