(Dallas / Addison, TX) The role of an Inside Sales Territory Manager is to seek out and engage with prospective clients to drive the sale of eEye’s award winning Vulnerability Assessment & Management and Enterprise Endpoint Security solutions.
The eEye Inside Sales Representative plays a key role for the Sales Team. The Territory Manager builds pipeline through prospecting and lead qualification, creates proposals and bids, leads webinar presentations, generates and closes sales opportunities. This position is aligned with the field sales team and reports to the Inside Sales Director.
The success of our top Inside Sales Territory Managers is based on their self-motivated drive and ability to generate high levels of activity, hunting out and closing new clients to drive incremental revenues and growing incremental revenues from our large base of existing clients by renewing, up-selling and cross-selling. Success of closing new and existing clients is through effective articulation of eEye’s unique and strategic product benefits against a client’s business pain by the use of effective solution based selling approaches.
Comprehensive, integrated sales and marketing campaigns will be executed whereby a Territory Manager’s sales efforts will be supported with the necessary technical and Executive management involvement early in the sales cycle to optimize performance, shorten the sales cycle, and provide a solid value proposition, extracting the highest business value for our end users.
The Inside Sales Territory Manager will work closely with their Field Sales Director counterpart in an effective sales continuum that maximizes geographical coverage, product depth, and revenue generation for eEye Digital Security.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Make 60+ outbound and inbound calls per day
- Obtain, maintain, and readily articulate a comprehensive understanding of eEye's product offerings and their relationship to a client's critical business issues
- Outbound prospecting to identify and qualify new business opportunities
- Manage sales and technical resources to efficiently close these business opportunities.
- Successfully implement sales cycle management processes to meet and exceed revenue objectives
- Work with Sales Directors in your assigned territory to maximize revenue potential across all accounts
- Work with Sales Directors to leverage, recruit and maintain channel partners
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations to assist with order administration
- Provide accurate and timely reports, including Sales Forecasts
- Align sales strategies to meet the overall business objectives
Measured Activities:
- Revenue attainment on a monthly, quarterly and annualized basis
- Outbound calling and e-mailing activity
- Number of New Business Development (NBD) calls and webinar demonstrations
- Ability to develop, maintain, and penetrate comprehensive targeted account lists including key contacts within those accounts
- Net new opportunities identified per day/week
- Assist and support the sales team
Successful Candidates’ attributes include:
- Ability and motivation to sustain high activity levels (60+ calls per day)
- Proven track record in selling enterprise software products
- Security software expertise a major plus
- Knowledge of salesforce.com or similar SFA tools
- Candidate must possess strong knowledge of Microsoft OS as well as an understanding of the Internet and related applications.
- Sharp, self-motivated, hard-working, driven individual with 3-5 years inside sales experience, ideally with high tech, security, and/or enterprise software.
- Skilled and tenacious at outbound calling, hunting environment with a proven track record achieving sales and business goals.
