Distribution agreement expands eEye’s reach into North American reseller channel

(ALISO VIEJO, CA) August 26, 2002 — eEye Digital Security http://www.eeye.com, the leader in vulnerability assessment technology and research, today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the largest global wholesale provider of technology products and supply chain management services. The agreement will expand eEye’s access to resellers in North America through Ingram Micro’s solution provider network, providing them with instant access to eEye’s sophisticated network security products, like Retina® Network Security scanner and SecureIIS™ Application Firewall.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro will immediately begin distributing eEye’s vulnerability assessment and remediation tool, Retina; eEye’s proactive web server security product, SecureIIS; and eEye’s visual data monitoring and reassembly product, Iris™ Network Traffic Analyzer.
