(ALISO VIEJO, CA) February 14, 2003 — eEye Digital Security today announced that Retina Network Security Scanner and SecureIIS Web Server Protection have each been selected as finalists in their respective categories for the 2003 Information Security Magazine Excellence Awards. The magazine asked its subscribers to indicate the products they use and then rate them on a scale of 1 to 5. Retina Network Security Scanner was selected as a finalist in the Vulnerability Assessment/Security Monitoring category for the second consecutive year. SecureIIS Web Server Protection was also chosen as a best-in-class finalist for the Intrusion Prevention category. Winners will be announced in Orlando, FL on March 10th, 2003.
