Experienced Security Leader Joins eEye Board of Directors
(ALISO VIEJO, CA) April 4, 2007 — eEye Digital Security®, the leading developer of system security software, today announced the appointment of Kamal Arafeh to chief executive officer effective immediately. Arafeh had previously served as the company's senior vice president of Worldwide Sales & Marketing. Under his management, eEye realized multiple consecutive quarters of profitability, a testimony to Arafeh's focus on tactical execution, business acumen and ability to direct and motivate teams.

Arafeh brings extensive experience in network security, wireless and Internet infrastructure to eEye. He has held sales, marketing and channel positions at some of the world's most well-known and successful security technology companies including McAfee, Network Associates and Astaro Corporation. In 2003, while General Manager of Roxio, he successfully led the digital media software provider into the enterprise space, resulting in a product acquisition by Symantec. Prior to joining eEye, he was VP of Sales and Marketing of the Americas and Asia Pacific for security vendor Astaro, responsible for more than 100 percent annual revenue growth in both regions. During his four-year tenure at McAfee/Network Associates, he grew McAfee's channel sales operations by 200 percent annually.
