eEye to offer an incentive program for customers of Determina’s VPS endpoint security product to encourage them to switch to eEye’s award-winning Blink Professional endpoint security product.
(ALISO VIEJO, CA) August 23 — eEye Digital Security®, a leading developer of unified client security and vulnerability management tools, today announced its Determina Switch Program, an incentive program for customers of Determina’s VPS endpoint security product to encourage them to switch to eEye’s award-winning Blink Professional endpoint security product.
Backed by best of business research and development, eEye’s Blink Endpoint Security solution offers users advanced features including anti-virus, anti-spyware, vulnerability assessment and identity theft which are not available in Determina’s Endpoint Vulnerability Protection solution. Earlier this month, VMware Inc. acquired Determina Inc., of Redwood City, Calif., a vendor of vulnerability products.
eEye’s Determina Switch Program includes an automatic credit back to the customers’ existing Determina investment with the purchase of a one year minimum Blink license. Also included is a 32 IP pack of eEye’s Retina Network Security Scanner to scan critical assets at no additional charge. Retina scans the network for known and unauthorized devices - such as servers, desktops, laptops, routers/switches - identifying missing patches, misconfigurations, policy exceptions, and other vulnerabilities.
