1/23/2013 for V7.0 and V8.5, 4/29/2013 for V8.0, and 9/23/13 for V6.1.0.
IBM WebSphere Application Server for z/OS, Windows, Unix/Linux:
IBM WebSphere Application contains multiple vulnerabilities when handing input validation in the Administrative console and via crafted proxy server requests. Successful exploitation may result in arbitrary web script execution, information disclosure, and denial of service.
Exploitation of this vulnerability is possible via maliciously crafted URLs that contain malicious scripts. This may allow an attacker to siphon sensitive information or execute arbitrary web scripts within the context of the browser.
Apply Fix Pack for V7.0, V8.5, V8.0, and V6.1.0. Avoid clicking suspicious URLs that come from untrusted sources, or trusted sources that send URLs unexpectedly.
BeyondTrust's Retina® Network Security Scanner scans devices to detect for this vulnerability.
