No patch available.
Resin Professional Web and Application Server 4.0.36
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability exists, which could allow attackers to append malicious scripts to the URL after /res-admin/, since that URL is not properly sanitized prior to returning it to the user. This will result in the malicious script running in the user's browser.
Exploitation of this vulnerability is possible via maliciously crafted URLs that contain malicious scripts. This may allow an attacker to siphon sensitive information or execute arbitrary web scripts within the context of the browser.
No mitigation is available.
